On Dec.13th, a group of exports from Verband der Automobil Industrie (VDA) came to Nanjing to audit KLS which is the largest manufacturer of ABlue. After a whole day’s tense audit, KLS passed the on-site verification with a high score 93.3.
AdBlue, which is actually a VDA brand of related products concerning with vehicle urea that conform to ISO22241 will only be used by enterprises which pass the tough audit. VDA Certificate is also the most authoritative one in Europe, companied with API DEF; VDA constitutes the most official certificate in the world. Currently, KLS is the only one enterprise which has gained VDA Certificate.
The professional exports gave an all-round audit about system requirements, quality property, production process, shipment and storage, quality assurance, etc. During the verification process, they also looked over large number of documents and inspected the plant on-site. All the exports spoke very highly of measures adopted by KLS to fulfill requirements of VDA, especially the advanced production technology and tidy environment, which was essential to produce high quality AdBlue.
KLS has passed API DEF in January this year, besides, this time KLS successfully passes the on-site audit and it is of great significance for KLS to eventually gain the VDA Certificate.
