On the morning of Mar.28th, 180 tons AdBlue was shipped from Nanjing to Kagoshima, Japan for the reconstruction work of earthquake-stricken area.
Till now in Japan, more than 30000 people have died or disappeared in the earthquake over 9.0 on the Richter scale and tsunami. It is really catastrophic that hundreds of thousands of victim have lost their homes and are forced to go to the shabby refuge. At this time, heavy-duty trucks play an important role in transporting the relief supplies to the disaster area.
Japan has implemented standard about auto emission which conforms to Euo.IV (NOx≦2.0g/kwh and particulate≦0.02g/kwh) since 2010, then technical reformation for engines of all the trucks has also been carried out, assigning AdBlue as a must-have for SCR systems.
With an insufficient productivity, Japan has to import AdBlue from other countries, and KLS has begun to supply large quantity of AdBlue to Japan since last year. As a result of the catastrophe, Japan reported an emergency outwards that AdBlue shortage was becoming more and more serious. In response to the urgent appeal from earthquake-stricken area, KLS arranged production by night and eventually dispatched the ordered AdBlue 4 days before the contracted delivery time.
